This modified acrylic has a higher resistance to shattering when compared to regular Acrylic. This modified acrylic has a nominal thickness of 0.177-inches. This is commonly referred to as OPTIX Impact Modified Acrylic. This windshield is assembled using a patented adhesive process for the continuous hinge.
